| The West Chicago Fire Protection District is inviting community members to volunteer in its planning process. Volunteers will join the Facilitating Team, which will provide input on the question, "What level of emergency services should West Chicago expect now and over the next 20 years?"
The Facilitating Team will meet several times for sessions lasting one to two hours during evenings between now and December. In December 2026, a report detailing the team's recommendations will be presented to the District Board of Trustees.
