| On July 22, 2026, a group of local students taking part in the "We Go First Responder Academy," sponsored by WeGo Together for Kids, visited Fire Station #6 at 200 Fremont Street. Fire Department personnel led the students on a tour of the facility and shared information about the department’s daily operations.
The purpose of the academy was to give students a first-hand look at careers in Fire Services, Emergency Medical Services, and Fire Inspection. The program aimed to educate students about these professions and inspire interest in public safety careers. |
