🏅 Recognizing Excellence in Service 🏅 The West Chicago Fire Protection District is proud to recognize several of our members for their outstanding actions during a structure fire in Warrenville on April 4, 2026

Award of Merit – Life Safety
Lt. Dave Link, FF Jimmy Aguayo, and FF Patrick Fogarty were recognized for their actions that directly contributed to the life safety and rescue of a civilian during the fire.

Life-Saving Clinical Interventions
FF/Paramedic Patrick Fogarty, Paramedic Justin Williams, and Paramedic Eric Quasney were recognized for the critical clinical interventions they provided following the rescue, helping stabilize the patient during treatment and transport and contributing to the patient’s survival and recovery.

We are incredibly proud of these members and their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to protecting the lives of those we serve.
