Fire Prevention Bureau The West Chicago Fire Protection District is proactive in the prevention of fire. To do this, the West Chicago Fire Prevention Bureau conducts building inspections on all commercial, industrial, educational, assembly and mixed use facilities. Under the direction of Fire Marshal Deputy Chief Joseph Buenrostro, Inspectors Lt.
